The Art of Innovation

Working with HM Consulate-General in San Francisco, Whitewall helped showcase the best of British tech, art, and ingenuity in one standout experience.

Our big idea? The Art of Innovation — a bold campaign positioning Britain not as a land of legacy, but as a launchpad for future-facing creativity, sustainability, and tech.

Branding the Buzz

Branding the Buzz

We created a clean, modern identity that stitched together British heritage and cutting-edge design — from a fresh Union Jack-inspired logo to the hashtag #BritishInnovation. This visual identity brought together the evening’s vibrant, forward-looking ethos for an audience drawn from across Bay Area businesses.

Hype and Partnerships

Working with the British Consulate-General, we rolled out a buzz-building comms plan for all HMCG’s social media channels. For sponsors, we built a luxe prospectus aligned with two cultural powerhouse art exhibitions: Eyes of the Storm by Sir Paul McCartney and I Dream a World by Sir Isaac Julien.

The Main Event

The Main Event

At San Francisco’s de Young Museum, the evening kicked off with a private tour of the stunning exhibition, followed by a vibrant reception. Think: bagpipes, Beatles covers, Union Jack napkins, and strawberries-and-cream. UK innovation stole the spotlight — everything from electric bikes to eco drinks in cardboard bottles.

Guests flowed between immersive exhibits and real conversations — like a British motorbike engineer swapping ideas with a senior Oracle exec on data integration. That’s the magic of making every moment count.
